My Journey

If you had asked me a few years ago about my future in computer science, I would have met your question with a blank stare. The thought had never crossed my mind, not even as a fleeting consideration. My academic and professional path seemed to be drawing me elsewhere, until one pivotal moment that steered me onto a course I hadn’t anticipated, leading me towards an undiscovered passion that was waiting just around the corner.

The journey began at the University of Applied Sciences in Heilbronn, where, on a whim, I decided to dip my toes into the world of Computer Science. This decision was less about a long-standing interest and more about curiosity — a ‘why not?’ moment that felt both arbitrary and momentous. What I discovered there was a revelation: a world of logic and creativity that resonated with me on a level I hadn’t experienced before. The intricacies of programming, the beauty of algorithms solving real-world problems, and the sheer potential of technology to transform lives; I was captivated.

During my time at university, I sought to immerse myself further into this newfound passion. An opportunity arose at Bosch, a name synonymous with innovation and quality. I joined the company as a working student, eventually transitioning into a role as an intern. Over the course of two and a half years, I was not just a spectator but an active participant in the tech world. The experience was invaluable, not only in terms of the technical skills I honed but also in understanding the impact of collaborative innovation.

Yet, the journey didn’t end there. My curiosity and ambition, now fully ignited, led me to explore beyond the familiar confines of Bosch. That’s when I discovered STACKIT.
